Recommendations have been developed for the selection of rational parameters of the rolling stock running parts and the track to improve the dynamics, interaction with the track, and the motion safety of passenger trains in regular modes and in case of emergency collisions. The developed recommendations can be used (after experimental verification) in the creation of promising high-speed passenger cars of a new generation, as well as in the improvement of existing running parts, which will increase the speed and the level of train motion safety, reduce the negative influence on the railway track, and accelerate the integration of Ukraine into European railways transportation. The scientific and technical significance of the work lies in the fact that at the stage of development of new designs of rail rolling stock units, as well as wheel and rail profiles, it is important to predict the influence of changes in design parameters on the stability of movement and dynamic characteristics of cars, the safety of their movement.
