An analysis of the peculiarities of the radiation monitoring systems of Ukraine and the world was carried out. The possibilities of modern complexes based on UAVs for solving the problems of monitoring the radiation situation have been studied. The task of restoring the surface density of radiation contamination of the territory based on the data of remote measurements was studied and the methods of its solution were analyzed. Algorithms for solving the problem of restoring the surface density of radiation contamination of the territory based on remote measurement data have been developed. The developed algorithms are implemented in the form of software tools.
