The object of the study is the properties of elements of military equipment resulting from the modeling of their contact interaction and elastic-plastic deformation of materials under the action of loads.
The purpose of the research work is to improve the service performance of elements of military equipment to the world level by developing theoretical foundations and researching their contact interaction and elastic-plastic deformation of new materials and surface coatings on the basis of variational formulations, microstructural models and parametric modeling, and as well as the development of recommendations for the justification of improved technical solutions.
The results of the work are an improved theory of the contact interaction of elements of military equipment objects taking into account the elastic-plastic behavior of new materials and surface coatings based on the development of the theory of variational inequalities and Kalker’s variational principle, as well as laws and recommendations regarding the formation of service properties of military equipment objects elements, their materials and coatings.
