The results of the analysis of the experience of open science in foreign universities are highlighted, the promising directions of the development of open science in Ukrainian universities in the conditions of the war and post-war recovery of Ukraine are determined, in particular regarding: the implementation of trends and mechanisms for the integration of educational and research activities of universities; realization of policies and procedures for the implementation of the concept of "open science" in universities; increasing the responsibility of research activities of universities; the concept of "open science" as a mechanism for the transformation of the research activities of universities in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development; the value aspects of democratization of scientific activity; regulation of research activities of universities in peacetime, under the conditions of war (martial law) and post-war reconstruction and development; the development of the research infrastructure of universities; modeling the e-infrastructure of universities for the development of open science in Ukraine.
