The object of research is in silico research, prediction of activity, modification and synthesis of N,O,S-heterocycles, interaction with DNA and RNA. The purpose of the work is the purposeful creation of new nucleotide-binding substances (ligands) in a number of N,O,S-heterocyclic compounds and the development of principles for their further use in medical practice. An analytical review of various sources of information on the interaction of organometallic compounds with nucleic acids, in particular platinum-containing and other organometallic compounds with DNA and plasmid, was conducted. Methods of syntheses of new N,O,S-heterocycles based on norbornene and endic anhydride have been developed. A computer-chemical analysis of previously synthesized N,O,S-heterocyclic compounds was carried out. The interaction of bis-dimethylsulfoxide-cis-tetrachlorodi-μ-pivalatodirhenium (III) with calf thymus DNA (CT DNA) and herring sperm (HS DNA) was studied.
