The object of the study is domestic varieties of sugar sorghum in the agro-climatic conditions of the forest-steppe of Ukraine. The subject of the study is the influence of the feeding area, sowing dates and the genetic potential of sugar sorghum on plant productivity and output of raw materials for cultivation in the Forest Steppe of Ukraine. The purpose of the work is to analyze the application of certain elements of cultivation technology and the influence of the genotype of sugar sorghum plants on yield, taking into account changes in the agroclimatic conditions of the Forest Steppe of Ukraine. The research methods are laboratory, field, measuring and weighing, statistical.
For the first time in the central forest-steppe of Ukraine, a study was conducted to determine the influence of planting density and sowing dates on the growth, development and productivity of plants, depending on the genotype of sugar sorghum.
