The purpose of the work: to investigate the prognostic value of miRNA 21, -375 expression levels in patients with locally advanced oral cavity cancer. Research methods - general clinical, pathomorphological, endoscopic, radiation, polymerase chain reaction method. The expression levels of 21,375 miRNAs in the tumor tissue of 30 patients with locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity were studied. The relationship between the expression indicators of microRNA 21 and -375 in the tumor tissue of patients with locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity and the duration of the recurrence-free period was proved. The expression levels of miRNA 21 and -375 were 1.6 (p<0.05) and 2.4 (p<0.05) times lower in patients whose duration of the relapse-free period was < 12 months compared to patients whose duration of the relapse-free period was period was ≥ 12 months. The expression of miRNA 21 was associated with the prevalence of the primary tumor (p<0.05) and metastatic lesions of the cervical lymph nodes (p<0.05). An association of miRNA 375 expression with the degree of tumor differentiation (p<0.05) and metastatic lesions of cervical lymph nodes (p<0.05) was established.
