popup.description2
As part of the work on the second stage of the project based on the reversible anisotropic photo-selection of bacteriorhodopsin (BR) molecules in the trimer, a recording and relaxation model of a polarization thin dynamic holographic grating in the mode of self-diffraction of the recording beams in the saturation region is being developed, taking into account the cooperative interaction of the BR molecules in the trimer. Since there is data that the connection with quantum dots (QDs) significantly affects the polarization anisotropy of the hybrid nanomaterial complex, in order to study the kinetic properties of photocycle intermediates of BR / QD hybrid nanosystems, a method for determining the molecular dichroism of BR, from the kinetics of the first-order diffraction efficiency in mode of self-diffraction when recording a thin polarizing holographic grating. It is shown that with an increase (decreasing molecular absorption anisotropy), the diffraction efficiency of the polarization grating rapidly decreases, while the increase practically does not affect the kinetics of the first-order diffraction efficiency in the self-diffraction mode when recording the holographic intensity grating.
