The object of the study is the lexical and grammatical norms of using and writing foreign loanwords in the field of economics and public administration. The purpose of the work is to identify and investigate foreign language elements in modern Ukrainian economic terminology and in the terminology of state administration. The main aspects of Ukrainian terminology, the peculiarities of the use and adaptation of foreign language elements in modern Ukrainian economic terminology and in the terminology of state administration are clarified; traditional and new means of Ukrainian term formation were revealed; the role of foreign language elements and the peculiarities of their assimilation in the modern Ukrainian language are investigated; the main mechanisms of creation of Ukrainian economic term compounds, which include foreign language elements, are described. The necessity of differentiation of terminological lexemes of foreign origin is substantiated; classified thematic groups of foreign language loanwords in the field of economy and state administration; the need for a register of foreign loanwords was justified and their full-fledged belonging to the lexicon of the modern Ukrainian language was proved. English words in the field of economics and public administration are considered as an independent branch of vocabulary, and not only as foreign language inclusions and exoticisms. Linguistic and non-linguistic factors of replenishing the Ukrainian term system with foreign lexemes in the field of economy and state administration are indicated, which will contribute to increasing the level of general language training of Ukrainian speakers, their language literacy and professional communication skills.
