The aim of the study is to outline theoretical, methodological, and conceptual approaches to studying the socio-communicative role of translation in the context of the interaction of national cultures. Based on the results of the research, the peculiarities of the paradigm of interaction of national cultures at the level of creative dialogue were revealed; modern approaches to studying a second foreign language, taking into account the translation factor; the specificity of forming a multicultural specialist in modern realities; defining aspects of language interaction; structural and systemic analysis of medical terminology; key factors of intercultural competence; basics of processing, reading and translating professional texts.
