The object of the research is Oriental philology in the context of the interaction of languages and culture in the modern globalized world. Research methods: general scientific and special linguistic. The purpose of the work: to investigate the current issues of Modern Oriental philology. Results and their novelty: - topical issues of the domestic school of Oriental studies and the contribution of Ukrainian linguists to the development of modern Oriental studies have been investigated; - the main sources that can reconstruct the phonetic features of the ancient Chinese language are singled out; - the peculiarities of modern research in the field of historical accentology of Eastern languages have been studied; - the peculiarities of prosody and Arud's metric and the relationship between prosody and pragmatics are considered; - the grammatical structure of the modern Arabic language is analyzed, namely the function of the particle 'inna' in the Arabic verb sentence; - the peculiarities of the lexical structure of the modern Arabic language are clarified; - the functioning of nationally determined emotives in the linguistic worldview is investigated; - the study of the identity of the space of the Arabic postcolonial literature has been conducted. The degree of implementation: the research of Oriental studies has been implemented in the scientific and educational process of the university. Recommendations: to use of the results of the research practically. Significance of the work: provides comprehensive information on the current state and future prospects of research in Oriental philology, deepens the understanding of the phonetic, grammatical, and lexical structure of Oriental languages. Conclusions: it is necessary to deepen the research of modern aspects of Eastern languages.
