The topicality of the research is determined by the specificity of the profession of a doctor (pharmacist) as a linguistically active one, which involves constant communication, which must be effective and positively productive. Linguistic cognition is a priority for students in primary courses, since it is during this period that preliminary knowledge of medical (pharmaceutical) concepts and immersion in the professional linguistic dimension occurs. The formation of any competences is impossible without creating favorable pedagogical conditions, which involves conducting scientific research on the issues of teaching language in a higher medical school and the practical implementation of their results in the educational process, including through development of modern teaching and methodical content of subjects. The purpose is to study the peculiarities of the formation of professional competences of future doctors and pharmacists in the conditions of an integrative and comparative approach against the background of the intensification of the educational process. Materials and methods. The material of the research is the terminological units of the term system of the medical field and the pedagogical environment and educational process in the higher medical school. The research used the method of analysis of scientific sources, the method of comparative analysis, descriptive, classification, structural methods; the comparative-historical method, empirical methods, method of generalization of the results. Conclusions. An important result, in addition to the in-depth study of terminological regularities, was the creation of methodological content of the educational components “Ukrainian language”, “Latin language and medical terminology”, “Foreign language”, which takes into account basic principles of integrative and comparative education.
