A new method of sputum induction with a hypertonic solution was developed, which improves the quality of collected samples for microbiological detection of mycobacterium tuberculosis in sputum. It was found that in resistant forms of pulmonary tuberculosis, the tuberculous process in the organ is radiologically more widespread with the presence of a greater number of cavities and their larger size against the background of a more pronounced clinical picture and identification of tuberculosis mycobacteria than in sensitive tuberculosis.
