The aim of the study is to develop new functional additives; study their structure, properties and practical application. Research methods are elemental analysis; infrared spectroscopy; viscometry; differential scanning calorimetry; thermogravimetric analysis; processing and analysis of the results. Functional additives for polymeric materials were investigated: coalescents for paints and varnishes based on ionic liquids; oligourethane diisocyanates for modification of triacetate cellulose compositions and film materials based on them; waxy components of sunflower husk to replace traditional components used in various industries. Functional additives for food products: chocolate mass components and their complex effect on the properties of chocolate mass and competitiveness for various industries; composition of ingredients for mayonnaise preparation using non-traditional raw materials. It has been developed: functional additives for polymeric materials; functional additives for food products; composition of ingredients for mayonnaise preparation using non-traditional raw materials (for which new technical solutions have been developed and protected by an application for invention of Ukraine).
