popup.description1
The establishment of mechanisms of phase and structure formation in nano dispersed compositions is diamond-graphite-like boron nitride in the presence of oxygen (since the above-mentioned starting powders always contain oxygen) at high pressures and temperatures and the determination of optimal conditions for P-T processing for the formation of diamond-like phases in the system of elements of B-N-C-O
popup.description2
The objects of research are nanostructured particles of diamond powders obtained by various methods at high pressures, synthesized single-phase boron carboxynitride powders and with diamond particles, as well as polycrystalline samples based on them, obtained at high pressures and temperatures.
The purpose of the work is to study the structural and phase transformations under sintering conditions at high pressures and temperatures of single-phase objects and composites (based on the powders of the original components nanodisperse diamond, turbostrate boron nitride, boron carboxynitride, boron oxide) for designing
For the first time, using a complex of methods (TEM in the mode of diffraction contrast and high resolution in combination with microdiffraction, X-ray phase analysis, X-ray photoelectron and infrared spectroscopy), structural-phase transformations in the process of sintering at high pressure (7.7 GPa) and temperature ( 1700 oС) of compositions of ultra- and nanodispersed diamond powders and graphite-like phases of BN and BNCO, which are presented in the form of powders or deposits on the surface of diamond particles. For the first time, it was established that sintering in the specified system of powders is accompanied by the interaction of the initial components and some grinding of diamond particles, and nanodispersed (5-7 nm) diamond-like phases are formed in the system of BNCO elements. The presence of such phases was confirmed by the indicated methods of structural research. Sphalerite phases of BN and BN2.5C composition were also identified. Polycrystalline samples based on them were obtained for the first time. Samples based on nanodispersed (0.1/0 μm) diamond and BNCO powder have a density of 3.2 g/cm3 and a hardness of 28 GPa, which correspond to the values of superhard
