An integrated concept of "harmonization of accounting and auditing" has been defined. As a theoretical and methodological basis it enables the harmonization of principles and methodologies of accounting, financial reporting and auditing, as well as their practical tools. Recommendations related to accounting, implementation of information technologies and digital transformation have been developed for outsourcing companies. Instruments of state policy in this area have been improved with the aim of harmonizing them with the legislation of the EU. Special attention was paid to supporting the fight against corruption, improving the effective work of supervisory bodies, and enhancing data protection. Normative and methodological approaches have been developed in order to eliminate shortcomings in the domestic accounting and auditing system and further improve their main aspects in Ukraine.
