Scientific and practical approaches to the analysis of energy market convergence, which is proposed to be considered as a structural derivative of economic integration and unification of the regulatory environment, was improved. The approach to the analysis of convergence of components (stages) of the regulatory process (convergence of goals, regulatory convergence and structural (market) convergence) was tested. The main factors (drivers) of market convergence were categorized and the features of this phenomenon (dynamic, relativity, uncertainty of the final state) were highlighted. The level of convergence of the energy markets of Ukraine and the EU was proposed to be determined by passing control points of energy transformations.
