Within the framework of the topic, a systematic and historical analysis of 268 domestic and 117 foreign scientific sources on health care reform was carried out; the legislative framework for reforming the health care system of Ukraine and the WHO provisions on reforming the medical sector were analyzed; the stages of reforming the health care system of Ukraine, the timing of their implementation and the difficulties of implementation were analyzed; the peculiarities of reforming the health care system in Ukraine were studied; the priority tasks of reforming the industry were outlined; the ways of reforming the health care system of Ukraine with the structural and substantive content of the Law "On Compulsory State Health Insurance" were studied and On the basis of an in-depth study of domestic and foreign literature, the author proposes ways to reform the health care system of Ukraine with structural and substantive content of the Law of Ukraine "On Compulsory State Health Insurance".
