The purpose of the work is to develop a concept of effective use of feed from oilseeds obtained from the processing of seeds at domestic processing enterprises in feeding farm animals and poultry. Research methods - laboratory, technological, zootechnical, statistical. High-protein products of processing of oilseeds (including cruciferous) crops - cake and meal - are valuable components of concentrated feeds, as means for balancing them by protein content. They are much cheaper than animal feed (meat and bone, fish meal), but they also have some negative signs. First of all, this is the presence of such anti-nutrient substances as glucosinolates, erucic acid, phytates, synapine, non-starch polysaccharides, α - galactosides, protease inhibitors, etc. The mechanism and degree of influence of these compounds on the animal organism is different due to their chemical and biological nature, their concentration in the diet, the type and age of animals, etc. As a result of inappropriate use of such ingredients, there is a deterioration in the balance between the feed used and the growth of animals and, as a result, the overspending of feed and an increase in the cost of the resulting products. The developed concept of efficient production and use of secondary products for processing oilseeds includes analysis and determination of optimal methods for processing oilseeds, methods for improving their feed and methods for their use in feeding farm animals and poultry. At the same time, modern effective methods of processing oilseeds into oil and meal/cake are analyzed and determined. Analyzed and determined the most optimal ways of preparing feed from oilseeds to feed animals.
