popup.description2
The object of research is physico-chemical processes of forming two-layer paving slabs with high operational characteristics. The purpose of the work is to develop compositions and technological parameters for obtaining paving slabs with a reinforced surface layer based on multiton waste from the metallurgical and energy industries with stable operational properties that can withstand the effects of sign-changing temperatures, atmospheric precipitation, aggressive environments, dynamic and static loads. Research methods – X-ray phase analysis, simplex-lattice method of experiment planning. Physico-mechanical and technical properties were determined according to current DSTU and international ISO standards. Processing of experimental data was performed using methods of mathematical statistics. The possibility of obtaining paving slabs based on blast furnace slag and fuel ash with their maximum introduction with increased operational characteristics has been theoretically substantiated and experimentally proven. Raw materials are proposed from the point of view of creating a dense matrix structure; the choice of activators of solidification of slags and ashes is substantiated from the point of view of obtaining the given phase composition of the hardened stone. The expediency of the selected optimal method of manufacturing paving slabs, taking into account the available and modern equipment, the sequence of preparation of the raw material mixture to achieve the required primary strength is proven. The rational compositions of alkali-activated slag- and ash-containing materials developed using the methods of mathematical planning of the experiment are characterized by the B 35 compressive strength mark, the F 150 frost resistance mark, and reduced water absorption (up to 5%).
