As a result, the experimental relationships between objective parameters and changes in the distributions of linear and circular birefringence and dichroism due to pathological conditions (cancer, inflammation) and degenerative-dystrophic changes (dynamics of necrotic changes) were determined. The established criteria for changes in optical anisotropy at the micro- and nano-levels of the structure of networks of biological crystals are the basis for determining the operational characteristics (sensitivity, specificity, accuracy) of the power of Mueller-matrix fluorescence tomography methods for the differential diagnosis of pathological, inflammatory, and necrotic conditions.
