The research is aimed at improving the effectiveness of the existing system of agro-ecological monitoring and optimizing management decisions on agricultural production at different administrative levels
As a result of the research, the available satellite data for monitoring the moisture supply of steppe ecosystems were analyzed; the location of test sites for collecting ground data for monitoring the moisture supply of agro-ecosystems is substantiated; recommendations and requirements for ground data collection were developed, a description of the mode of ground data selection for monitoring the moisture supply of agroecosystems was prepared; collected and analyzed ground data within the test ranges and corresponding available satellite data for monitoring moisture supply, analyzed the correlations between them; methodical recommendations on the introduction of satellite data into the monitoring system of moisture supply of agro-ecosystems were developed.
