Development trends of augmented reality technologies and electronic educational publications, factors affecting the effectiveness of the educational process with the use of interactive elements in electronic educational publications for different groups of readers, as well as factors affecting the readability of augmented reality elements in printed publications are determined. Simulation of filling with interactive elements of electronic educational publications was carried out, depending on the degree of qualification and age of the respondents. As a result of the conducted research, the minimum necessary number of interactive elements and their types were established for the effective filling of electronic educational publications with them, as well as recommendations were developed regarding requirements for elements of augmented reality in printed publications and requirements for the design of electronic publications.
The obtained results can become the basis for the development of requirements for printed publications supplemented with AR elements and for electronic educational publications.
