popup.description2
The search, analysis, systematization and classification of numerous source materials, primarily of archival origin, were carried out. A number of previously unknown documents were analyzed and published, which reveal various aspects of the daily life of the Western Ukrainian peasantry, intelligentsia, workers, students, and school students (1944–1953). A historiographical analysis of the existing scientific research on the specified issue was carried out. The daily life of the so-called "small" average person is studied, his personal experience and forms of behavior are reproduced in the complex and contradictory conditions of the transformation of social life and Sovietization transformations in the Western Ukrainian region of the middle of the 20th century. The daily life practices of various social groups and strata are characterized: peasants, workers, intelligentsia, clergy, nomenklatura, pupils and students, participants of the Ukrainian liberation movement, etc. Changes in mental and psychological foundations, behavioral stereotypes, everyday circumstances, daily customary and legal instructions, group and individual reactions of individual individuals in the conditions of transformations of socio-political, ethnic, religious, public, and economic aspects of human life are analyzed. Programs of educational disciplines (of an optional, selective nature) were developed for secondary and higher education institutions of the Western Ukrainian region regarding the daily life of the inhabitants of the region in 1944–1953.
