The aim of the project is to develop the theoretical basics, models, and new techniques for enhancing the energy efficiency during the retrofit of the centralized district heating supply networks with implementation of renewable energy sources and waste heat from the industry, and to provide the recommendations concerning their step-by-step resource-saving transition to the low-temperature district heating systems.

The second stage of the project is aimed at carrying out an analysis of existing state-of-the-art approaches and technologies for the improvement of thermal centralized heating / air conditioning networks using heat pumps, solar collectors and heat accumulators, designing the models of possible connection schemes of individual elements of the systems, their schemas, thermodynamic parameters of models using various liquids as a coolants, analysis of temperature parameters of operation, analysis of the possibilities of their improvement and the use of heat pumps together with a centralized heat network in the cities of Ukraine.
