The purpose of research -the theoretical substantiation and development of elements of the technology of growing green asparagus in the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine under various conditions of ridgeless technology to maximize the biological needs of a valuable perennial crop, to determine agricultural measures to create a "vegetable conveyor" that guarantee obtaining high economic and production indicators. Research methods: general scientific, special field long-term and short-term experiments, laboratory, calculation, statistical. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time in the Forest Steppe of Ukraine, under the conditions of drip irrigation and ridgeless growing technology, the patterns of growth, development and yield formation of 23 culture hybrids were investigated. A new innovative conveyor technology for the production of green asparagus has been developed, which involves the cultivation of new high-performance hybrids with mulching of plantations and the use of a a cold chain using, thanks to which the cumulative financial result for 10 years of production increased by 25560 thousand UAH/ha, and the profitability of production compared to standard technology increased by 67% and amounted to 111%. A method of short-term storage and transportation of green asparagus has been developed that combines post-harvest preparation of products, its packaging, storage in a refrigerating chamber at a temperature of 1±2 C and a relative air humidity of 90–95%, which allows extending the duration of its storage from 5 (control) to 28 days, ensures the conditional quality of products at the level of 98.5% and profitability of 140.6% per 1 ton of stored products.
