The purpose of the work is to improve the efficiency of transport systems in the most significant cities. Research methods – modeling of logistics and transport processes, system and statistical analysis of parameters of transport systems in the most significant cities. The report discusses the problematic issues of designing parking zones, parameters of the process of transporting goods and passengers, organization of pedestrian and transport traffic, management of logistics and transport processes, taking into account the influence of the external environment, as well as the impact of the functioning of the transport network on the environmental performance of cities. An analysis of the problematic issues of the functioning of the customs control service of Ukraine in the organization of the movement of goods in international traffic is provided.
The results of research can be used by transport and logistics enterprises, customs control services and local authorities.
Practical recommendations on the use of rational technologies for the transportation of goods and passengers at transport enterprises, aimed at their effective sustainable development and adaptation, are given.
