The purpose of the research is to identify the potential of a subjective factor to overcome disorganization in society and ensure the sustainability of the development of modern society and its components as a whole system. The research method is dialectical, logical, historical, systematic analysis, decomposition, survey and questionnaire. The following was found during the research. The object is nature protection functioning and harmonious development of humanity on a planetary scale. The modern social system on planet Earth is represented by a set of states; the phenomenon of the state is closely related to a specific historical society, it regulates the interests of the individuals and social groups that make up this very society; organizes the unfolding of his social subjectivity. The specifics of sociocultural identification as a process and state have been established. The problem of the formation of the value system in modern Ukrainian society is considered. It was noted that values are the spiritual support of culture and society. The fact of the predominance of the average level of mental health among students of the 1st-3rd years was revealed. The presence of subclinically and clinically expressed anxiety was recorded in a quarter of students of 1-3 courses, as well as subclinically and clinically expressed depression in a third of students. The obtained results serve as a guide to action - conducting preventive work on the part of the psychological service to strengthen and preserve the mental health of students. Such "digital" risks of modern education as difficult identification of distance learning students and insufficient direct contact between a personal teacher and each of them are highlighted.
