On the second (final) stage of research, the current trends and prospects for the development of gas markets in the conditions of war and post-war challenges were analyzed, the peculiarities of the use of financial instruments of exchange transactions on the natural gas market were determined, with the role of financial innovations being highlighted, the directions for the development of instrumental and infrastructural support for exchange trading were substantiated gas in Ukraine. Practical recommendations on the development of the infrastructural environment of the gas market are given, the limitations and prospects for the development of gas exchanges during a full-scale war in Ukraine and the prerequisites for the creation of a gas hub are outlined.
