The purpose of the work is to develop a method for determining the residual amounts of antibiotics in food products by the ELISA method. To solve the set goal, the following tasks must be solved: - to develop a method for determining chloramphenicol in samples of milk (liquid and in powder form), eggs, honey, animal feed and other objects. Research method: immuno-enzymatic. The research was conducted on the basis of the testing laboratory of the SE "KYIVOBLSSTANDARTMETROLOGIA". The developed technique applies to milk (in liquid and powder form), eggs, honey, animal feed and other objects. The essence of the method is to detect the presence of antigen-specific antibodies in the studied sample. In the competitive type of ELISA, two specific antibodies are used, an enzyme-conjugated antibody and another antibody present in the tested sample. Combining two antibodies in the wells will allow competition for binding to the antigen. The presence of a color change means that the test is negative because the enzyme-conjugated antibodies have bound the antigens (not antibodies to the test sample). The absence of color indicates a positive sample and the presence of antibodies in the tested serum. Competitive ELISA has low specificity and cannot be used in diluted samples.
