The purpose of the study is to scientifically substantiate a system of preventive measures for optimizing nutrition for certain age categories of the population in selected districts of the Odessa region and to establish relationships with working capacity and the main components of a lifestyle. Research methods - calculation method (analysis of menus and menu-layouts, carbohydrate content, energy value); method of questioning (questionnaire "SINDI"); chemical - laboratory methods, atomic absorption method (metal content), colorimetric method (nitrate content). Health indicators are studied using anthropometric methods, hematological methods (the content of hemoglobin, erythrocytes, leukocytes), biochemical methods (the content of methemoglobin in the blood, iron in the blood serum). The results will be processed using generally accepted mathematical and statistical methods. 1. Continued analysis and generalization of literature data on the impact of deficiency of certain nutrients (vitamin D3, iron, magnesium, essential amino acids) on health and nutritional status of a person. 2. Conducted research on the alimony status of persons of different age groups, including children's population of Odesa 3. An assessment of the amino acid composition and content of arginine and histidine in basic baby food products was carried out. 4. A survey of the population was conducted to identify the categories that are most characterized by magnesium deficiency. The results obtained indicate the need to update the optimal nutrition in the population. Increasing the use of complete protein, eliminating micronutrient deficiencies, creating conditions for increasing the physical activity of the population and the level of knowledge in matters of healthy nutrition.
