The conducted studies are aimed at finding the synergy of pharmacological drugs - modulators of neuroimmune inflammation in relation to the manifestations of chronic epileptic syndrome caused by pentylenetetrazole kindling. An additional task is to determine the effectiveness of the pharmacological complex against the background of the application of non-invasive transcranial direct current stimulation of cerebellar structures. This structure is part of the anti-epileptic system of the brain. As markers of neuroimmune inflammation, HIF-1α – hypoxia-inducible factor, NF-kB – nuclear factor kappa-beta, as well as TNF-α - tumor necrosis factor-alpha, the expression of which was determined in the hippocampus tissue of rats with simulated chronic epileptic syndrome. It was established that the combined use of rapamycin, a blocker of mTOR receptors, and axitinib, a type B tyrosine kinase blocker, cause a synergistic anticonvulsant effect in the reduction of kindling seizures, as well as in relation to the kindling-induced increase in the expression of the specified markers of neuroimmune inflammation. Previous application of cerebellar irritation enhances the anticonvulsant effect of rapamycin combined with axitinib.
