The increasing incidence of dental diseases among children and adolescents in Ukraine, in particular those accompanied by disorders of hard tooth tissue mineralization, requires new scientifically based approaches to their treatment and prevention. Experimental studies on rats provide a unique opportunity to study the mechanisms of disease development, their relationship with mineralization disorders and the impact of various treatments on the pathological process. Research work on the experimental substantiation of methods of treatment and prevention of major dental diseases in rats will allow the development and implementation of effective methods to combat these diseases in children.
