The subject of the study is the influence of harvesting dates, planting density, sowing dates, and the genetic potential of sugar sorghum on plant productivity and yield of feed raw materials under organic production in the Forest Steppe of Ukraine. The purpose of the work is to analyze the application of certain elements of cultivation technology and the influence of the genotype of sugar sorghum plants on the output of feed raw materials, taking into account the changes in the agro-climatic conditions of the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine. Research methods are laboratory, field, measuring and weighing, statistical.
For the first time, a study was conducted in the central Forest-Steppe of Ukraine to determine the impact of harvesting dates, planting density, sowing dates and genetic potential of sugar sorghum on plant productivity and yield of feed raw materials under organic production in the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine.
