In 2023, the tasks of the second stage of scientific research were carried out in accordance with the research program and the technical task. The scientists of the laboratory carried out the substantiation of the methodological tools and algorithm for the study of personality development in difficult life circumstances; carrying out empirical research aimed at identifying patterns of deviations in child development and ways to prevent them in the post-war recovery period. The methodical toolkit for researching the connection between the unfavorable social situation of development and the personal characteristics of children and adolescents is substantiated. The factors, components and structure of the process of socialization of children in accordance with the specifics of difficult life circumstances are identified. In particular, the regularities of violations of the forecast function, distortion of the orientation of value orientations of adolescents, their self-image, personal autonomy were clarified; adaptability of thinking.
