The purpose of the study: to increase the effectiveness of complex treatment of ovarian cancer and recurrences of the disease by using hormone therapy based on the study of the level of expression of estrogen and progesterone receptors in the tumor and the content of sex hormones in the blood of patients. Research methods: clinical-instrumental, clinical, radiological, immunological, morphological, statistical. Theoretical and practical results: the theoretical result is the establishment of a relationship between the expression of MBM and the receptor status of the tumor in patients with OC. Moderate expression of Ki67 was determined in the majority of patients with OC (53.0%), regardless of the receptor status of the tumor. In patients with ER+ PR+ and ER− PR+ progesterone levels, the frequency of expression of positive Bcl2 was 2–2.5 times more frequent than that of negative Bcl2. In patients with estrogen-positive (ER+ PR−) and estrogen-negative (ER− PR+) tumor receptor status, positive expression of VEGF was determined 1.9–6 times more often. In patients with estrogen-positive (ER+ PR−) and estrogen-negative (ER− PR−, ER− PR+ ) tumor receptor status, negative expression of p53 was more often determined. The practical result - the method of treatment of ovarian cancer patients with estrogen-positive receptor status of the tumor, who were prescribed continuous anti-estrogen therapy with drugs - letrazol, tamoxifen or examimtan, was improved. Novelty: For the first time, ovarian cancer patients with estrogen-positive tumor receptor status (ER+ PR-, ER+ PR+) were prescribed continuous anti-estrogen therapy to prolong the relapse-free period and treat relapses. Effectiveness of implementation: none. Field of application: oncology.
