The object of research is the processes of equipping textile materials using the phenyl-phenol type intensifier.
The purpose of this work is to establish the possibility of combining the process of coloring and providing antibacterial properties to fabrics containing polyester fibers with the use of a phenyl-phenol type intensifier with bactericidal properties, which will allow to exclude a separate operation of bactericidal treatment of the fabric at the stage final equipment and reduce energy consumption by reducing dyeing and ripening temperatures.
Research methods – methods of chemical technology of textile materials; standard methods of textile materials science, methods of evaluation and determination of antibacterial properties textile materials.
The work is aimed at solving an important applied task, namely, the development of technologies for equipping textile materials for individual protection of military personnel.
For this, the following tasks were set in the work:
- to investigate the influence of the intensifier and the dyeing regime on the hygienic and operational properties of textile materials;
- choose conditions for painting with the use of an intensifier;
- to investigate the antibacterial properties of the fabric.
For further use in practice: the competitiveness of the technology of creating world-class antibacterial textile materials; the possibility of production of new protective textile materials using raw materials existing in Ukraine, classic technologies with low production cost.
The relevance of the project is determined by the need to create technological processes for dyeing textile materials containing polyester fibers, with the simultaneous acquisition of bactericidal properties.
The scientific novelty and practical value of the work lies in the possibility of using an intensifier with specified bactericidal properties when dyeing mixed textile materials.
