It was established that after the start of the war, a significant proportion of families noted a decrease in the material level, deterioration of living conditions, an increase in conflicts with mutual accusations in different approaches to raising children and the use of physical punishment for children, a quarter of parents returned to smoking. According to the data of the STAI scale, high personal anxiety was determined in 39.68% of children. 82.54% of children had high and moderate levels of reactive anxiety, which caused a persistent tendency to perceive many life situations as threatening and react to them with anxiety, neurotic conflict and emotional breakdowns. Wartime significantly expanded the list of triggers that increase the level of anxiety and create anxiety states, among them the most common is the sound signal of an air raid. Regression analysis proved that the level of reactive anxiety on the day of the survey has a close relationship with the number of air alarms that were announced during the previous day b*=0.495, p = 0.000037. The negative impact of stressful life events significantly accelerates the transformation of functional disorders into somatic and psychosomatic pathology. The absolute majority of children (93.65%) were diagnosed with chronic diseases, and the pathological lesion index was 7.05. Molecular genetic studies of polymorphic variants of the SLC6A4 gene revealed that the LL genotype (47.63%) is the predominant variant.
