Rhizosphere and endophytic microbiota were studied and isolates of endophytic, epiphytic and rhizosphere microorganisms of Deshampcia antarctica E. Desv. and Colobanthus quitensis (Kunth) Bartl. were selected, including able to synthesize biologically active substances. 100 isolates from the rhizosphere zone and 20 isolates from the endosphere zone of D. antarctica were isolated. 90 isolates from the rhizosphere zone and 35 isolates from the endosphere zone of C. quitensis were isolated. Their morphological, cultural, physiological and biochemical characteristics were studied. The isolates were screened for their ability to synthesize indole-3-acetic acid, produce siderophores, and stimulate wheat growth. When wheat seeds were treated with isolates from the rhizosphere zone, seed germination increased, root length and leaf area increased, and chlorophyll content in wheat leaves increased. 4 isolates of microorganisms characterized by the best growth-stimulating properties were selected. According to the results of the study of their characteristics and sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene, the isolates were identified as representatives of the genera Lysinibacillus, Microbacterium, Arthrobacter and Pseudomonas. Nucleotide sequences of the 16S rRNA gene have been deposited in the GenBank database. Two strains: Lysinibacillus sp. Ekm8 and Microbacterium sp. EO1, deposited in the Depository of microorganisms of the D. K. Zabolotny Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the NAS of Ukraine. Certificates about deposit of 2 strains: Lysinibacillus sp. IMV B-8081 and Microbacterium sp. IMV B-8080, dated November 28, 2023, have been received. The strains are promising for use in the development of microbial preparations to improve seed germination and stimulate plant growth. Product Description popup.authors Komplikevych Solomiya Ya.
