A comparative analysis of the chemical composition of the longest back muscle of young animals showed that the concentration of dry matter, protein, and ash in the meat was the highest in the animals that were fed a grain mixture without GM soy as part of the ration and exceeded the analogues of the experimental group by 0.19- 0.60 % abs., 0.81-1.10 and 0.08-0.10 % abs. in accordance. According to the results of qualitative analysis of combined samples of internal organs of animals, genetically modified organisms were not detected in slaughter products. The introduction of 60% (by mass) of corn husks and 10% GM soybeans into the grain mixture instead of the same amount of wheat husks, lupine and sunflower cake for fattening animals in the III zone of radioactive contamination contributes to a significantly lower accumulation of toxic substances in muscle tissue: 137Cs - by 64.1 %, Pb – 17.5 %, Cd – 2.8 %, Cu – 4.2 %, and Zn – by 20.3 %.
