The subject of research is the immunophenotype of malignant tumor cells, molecular features of the interaction of fluorophore-conjugated antibodies with cancer cells in vitro and in vivo, the effectiveness of fluorescence-guided surgery in the visualization of malignant neoplasms. The aim of the work is to create a technique of intraoperative photodynamic imaging in the near infrared region of the spectrum of malignant tumors of the main localizations using fluorophore-conjugated antibodies to molecules of cancer-embryonic antigen. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were identified: investigate the immunological profile of malignant tumors regarding CEACAM, establishing their differences from the immunophenotype of unaffected tissues; develop comprehensive fluorophore-conjugated complexes with anti-CEACAM antibodies and determine their in vitro level of selectivity and stability; examine the in vivo intraoperative diagnostic effectiveness of fluorophore-conjugated antibodies in modeling malignant tumors in animals; formulate protocols for intraoperative diagnosis of malignant tumors and provide recommendations for their practical medical application. Research methods include histological and immunofluorescent studies, the creation of fluorophore-conjugated anti-CEACAM antibodies, in vivo experiments, and mathematical methods.
