The importance of scientific research results from the insufficient number of studies not only of the system-structural characteristics of neologism terms but also of the interpretation of the scientific results of the study of language innovations in the context of general language development. It is also important to determine the role and relationship of linguistic and non-linguistic factors in the formation of the neological potential of modern European languages. The study of neologisms was based on interaction with various other aspects of the cultural and social environment. The project was aimed at establishing the main aspects of the functioning of lexical innovations in various discourses of European languages (Germanic – English, German; Romance – French, Italian, Spanish; Slavic – Ukrainian) and their relationship with the universal nature of changes. Neologisms are developed taking into account the latest approaches in neology and neography. This involved the study of terms not only from the point of view of their structure, semantics, and functioning in the plane of relevant scientific paradigms but also in the context of lingual and extralingual factors. The final result of the scientific and practical study of neologisms was: preparation of a manuscript for publication of a collection of articles; publication of a glossary of neologisms; publication of a study guide containing an analysis of lexical innovations; preparation of a manuscript for publication of an ecology dictionary.
