The purpose of the study is to substantiate the organizational and pedagogical conditions and technologies for ensuring the unity of physical and military-patriotic education of students of general secondary education institutions. The object of the research is military and patriotic education in general secondary education institutions of Ukraine. Research methods. To solve the tasks at the organizational and research stage of the research, a set of complementary scientific and pedagogical methods was used: theoretical: analysis, comparison, classification, generalization for the development of a scientific and categorical research apparatus; study of regulatory and program documents; study and generalization of the pedagogical experience of general secondary education institutions regarding ensuring the unity of physical and military-patriotic education of schoolchildren; synthesis, comparison and comparison of different views on the problem of research, systematization, generalization of theoretical and empirical data for the development of organizational and pedagogical conditions and technologies for ensuring the unity of physical and military-patriotic education of students of general secondary education institutions; empirical: diagnostic methods (interviews, questionnaires, the method of incomplete sentences, ranking, solving problem situations); prognostic (expert assessment); observational (included and indirect observation) - to collect empirical material; a pedagogical experiment (declarative, formative and control stages) - to determine the levels of military-patriotic education of students in the process of physical and military-patriotic education in institutions of general secondary education; checking the effectiveness of organizational and pedagogical conditions and technologies for ensuring the unity of physical and military-patriotic education of students of general secondary education institutions; statistical - methods of mathematical statisti
