Research report: 42 p. (without supplements) The object of research are the pests of stocks of wheat, corn, sunflower seeds, lures and traps, insecticides; the subject is collar pest control system. The purpose of the work is to develop a scientifically based system of measures to control pests during the storage of grain and grain products. Research methods are laboratory and in production conditions, generally accepted for entomological research, measuring and weighing, analytical, calculation and mathematical and statistical. Monitoring of grain and grain products storage facilities (elevators, warehouses) of various forms of ownership in Dnipropetrovsk region was carried out. The effectiveness of the use of chemical and biological preparations to control the number of collared pests, which allow to optimize and improve the regulations for the use of insecticides to protect grain during storage, has been studied, a scientifically based system of measures to control collared pests during the storage of grain and grain products has been developed. Basic technological and operational characteristics. Basic information on the species composition, the prevalence of harmful organisms in grain stocks, the level of effectiveness of the use of chemical and biological preparations to control the number of collared pests was collected, and the regulations for the use of insecticides to protect grain during storage were developed.
