The developed scenario is implemented in the ion-cyclotron frequency range in the hydrogen minority mode. For this method, the condition of the ion cyclotron resonance zone of the fundamental harmonic for hydrogen inside the plasma column must be fulfilled. A comparison of plasma generation at ICRN with the hydrogen minority on Uragan-2M and LHD (Japan) shows that this scenario can be scaled to larger stellarators. The conducted experiments are the basis for proposing the use of this scenario for obtaining plasma in the ICR at Wendelstein 7-X when the magnetic field is reduced to 1.7 Tl. As part of the modernization of diagnostics, the development of a modernized waveguide system for microwave diagnostics of the URAGAN-2M stellarator was carried out. Also, the diagnostic method of MHD mode analysis based on mid-chord data of plasma diagnostics based on soft X-ray radiation (SXR) data was improved. The study of plasma confinement and instabilities and the role of fast particles in plasma stability were carried out on the JET and TCV tokamaks. At the TCV tokamak, the spatial structure of the TAE mode was determined by numerically modeling fluctuations of the SXR radiation based on the eigenfunctions of the TAE mode. At the JET tokamak, the excitation of different Alphen modes by thermonuclear alpha particles in the generated different discharges of deuterium-tritium plasma was determined. RF discharges with frequencies higher than the ion cyclotron frequency ω >> ωci were studied in a weak magnetic field in various gases and gas mixtures. The plasma was generated by two half-turn antennas similar to the Wendelstein 7-X (W7-X) antenna.  Product Description popup.authors DREVALʹ Mykola B Kovtun Yurii V. Kulyk Yuliya S.
