This report consists of two sections. The first section presents the results of
scientific research aimed at the definition and application of machine learning
methods in economics and finance, carried out with the participation of teachers of
the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering and postgraduate
students of the department. The second section presents the results of support for
advanced scientific research papers of Kherson State University, which are aimed at
studying the development of the digital infrastructure of a higher education
institution for the management of HEIs in a hybrid and remote mode. All papers
were performed with the participation of students, graduate students and teachers of
the department.
The purpose of the work, according to the perspective development plan, is to
create organizational, resource conditions that ensure an increase in the quantitative
and qualitative indicators of attracting young scientists to research in the subject
area, which is aimed at developing the theoretical and mathematical foundations for
building software and hardware for computer systems. They cover scientific
research, aimed at developing the theoretical foundations of mathematical and
software support for computers and systems, the development of algorithms and
programs, software systems, automated expert and industrial information processing
systems. During this, the following practical tasks were solved: determination of
general approaches, models, methods, algorithms and technologies for programming
specific tasks; construction of algorithms for solving specific problems by methods
of general purpose language, machine learning, data analysis, symbolic
transformations, insertional modeling and computer algebra; support of prospective
research projects of graduate students and undergraduates and, as a result, the
formation of scientific potential in the field of information technologies of the
