The contact interaction of two elastic and electrically elastic transversally isotropic half-spaces under compression in the presence of a disk-shaped rigid inclusion at the interface, the stress state in a piezoelectric material when a circular inclusion is moved and rotated, and when an elliptical disk is moved at the interface of piezoelectric half-spaces with the same properties are investigated. Analytical solutions of spatial problems of elasticity are obtained on the basis of representing the solutions of the static equations of elasticity for a transversally isotropic body through harmonic functions and using harmonic potentials of a special form. The stress distribution in electrically elastic bodies is analyzed, and the influence of the coupling of the force and electric fields on the contact parameters and stress distribution is determined.
