The decisive results of scientific research completed in 2021 under the task of the scientific and technical program of the National Academy of Sciences of the Ukraine Academy of Sciences indicate the following:
• employees of the sector of archival studies and document studies of the NNSGB of the National Academy of Sciences paid the main attention to the modernization of the preservation of archival funds as a modern innovative component in agricultural science and the creation of full-fledged databases with their electronic counterparts;
• the key stage is the development of documentary and informational resources of the epistolary property of outstanding agricultural scientists of Ukraine, in particular, the final phase is the arrangement of the funds of personal origin of Academician V. Vergunov. and Professor O. Pylypchuk, with further introduction to the electronic database F. 8 "Funds of personal origin of outstanding scientists", which currently number 11, chronologically covering the period 1902–2021 and currently containing more than 10,000 storage units;
• in accordance with the subject of applied research and research work carried out by the sector's employees, the methodical manual "Organization and functioning of funds of personal origin of agrarian scientists" was developed and partially improved.
