A number of methodological techniques based on strengthening the applied orientation of the informatics course have been developed. The application of these techniques should be carried out through the use of modern methods and forms of teaching that use the capabilities of computers, and, most importantly, through the solution of applied problems and the applied orientation of typical tasks. Based on the results of the testing of the proposed methodology and in connection with the Ukrainian-Russian war, the results of the research were somewhat adjusted. In particular, methodological recommendations have been developed that describe the requirements for hardware and features of setting up the hardware component of a computer system for the successful organization of distance learning; methodological features of using special software and digital educational resources for the effective organization of online learning are presented. It has been determined that the level of preparedness of informatics teachers for the implementation of practice-oriented teaching of informatics is quite important, since not all methodological departments emphasize the role of applied problems and the importance of solving them for the formation of students' informational competence and their worldview in the course of informatics teaching methods. It is proved that the use of the proposed methodology of practice-oriented teaching of informatics in a gymnasium activates the educational and cognitive activity of students, contributes to the formation of a modern worldview of students and the implementation of interdisciplinary links, skills in using information technology tools to solve practical problems.
