The purpose of the work is to find out the physiological expediency of the combined feeding of iron, copper, manganese, cobalt and zinc methionate mineral compounds to animals and poultry and their effect on erythropoiesis, protein metabolism, productivity, slaughter and meat indicators, to carry out a veterinary and sanitary evaluation of products and determine its biological value. Research methods - zootechnical (conducting experiments on animals and poultry, determining performance indicators), physiological (blood research, digestibility of nutrients), chemical (chemical analysis of feed, meat), statistical (biometric processing of results), analytical (summarization of research results ). A review of scientific research on mineral rationing of rations of farm animals and poultry using various sources of trace elements in feed was conducted. Deficiency of trace elements in fodder was revealed. The obtained results confirm the need to correct diets with deficient trace elements to eliminate their lack and imbalance in the body. It was determined that feeding bulls, pigs, quails and broiler chickens with mineral supplements of various origins promotes the activation of metabolic processes, which ensured the intensive growth of experimental animals and, accordingly, contributed to the reduction of feed costs per unit of growth. A positive effect of the studied additives on slaughter parameters and meat quality, hematological indicators was established. It has been proven that the correction of animal rations with methionates and lysinates of chelated trace elements contributes to the improvement of the physico-chemical and sanitary indicators of beef and contributes to its better storage.
